Developing with a Framework Quick-Starter (DFQ)
DFQ is a developer-oriented, hands-on class in which the participants learn the advantages of using a Framework for software development. We will compare and contrast the amount of effort needed to develop solutions with and without a framework.
Issues covered are customized to your needs. Issues may include:
- Contrasting the time to develop solutions with or without a framework.
- Insuring that framework components are used.
- Using developer laziness to your advantage.
- De-coupling objects.
- Programming by interface.
- Abstracting client code.
For the purposes of the class we use STS' Global Development Framework. This class can be coupled with the TDQ class and/or customized to fit your organizations specific needs.
